Our association membership of business and professionals has continued to grow and now exceeds 215. Our members include multinational corporations as well as many small business owners. PABI is a non-profit, non-governmental affiliated organization financed entirely by the investment of membership dues and is led by an all-volunteer board elected from the general membership. read more

Plaquemines Day at the Legislature - Plaquemines Day at the Legislature was held Wednesday, April 18, 2012 in Baton Rouge. State Legislators were on hand to network with members of the Plaquemines Parish community. The event was a success with many Parish representative attending. Picture of the event are here.
Chairman's Letter to the Membership Regarding CCC Tolls - Dear PABI Member, It was good to see so many members attend our recent luncheon featuring Parish President Billy Nungesser as the guest speaker. It has become a tradition for the Parish President to give his "State of the Parish" address at the PABI Luncheon each March. The Louisiana International Gulf Transfer Terminal will access 33 states via 14,500 miles of waterways for the purpose of transporting commerce. It will be the center of an International Supply Chain that will include a network of ports from Central and South America to the Gulf Region through the Midwest and on into Canada and from ports in Canada to Shanghai.
